Vadodara’s Maharaja Sayajirao University website hacked by ‘Pak men’

The page remained on the portal till Monday noon when the university officials succeeded in removing it.

Suspected Pakistan-based hackers have taken down the website of Vadodara’s Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), late on Sunday, rendering it inaccessible.

The Vadodara cyber crime has begun its probe after receiving a formal complaint from Head of the Department of Computer Technology Dr Apurva Shah.

MSU officials discovered the website msubaroda.ac.in had been taken down, late on Sunday night, with the webpage displaying a green-lettered menacing message against a black background that read, “Struck by Mr Anonymous; Hacked by Indian Black Hats; We come r00tinG Your b0x3s… reason of attacking Indian site is mention in deface… Dear Skids of India Here we come to Stemp your cyber space… And for pay back of hacking pak Gov webs… Stop Touching Pakistani Servers Or Else Expect us in Indian Servers… Never Forget We are Those who Hacked CBI Website Indian Railways Website and we can do it again …so be aware; We are TeaM Death Adders Crew.” (sic)

The group that identifies itself as Team Death Adders Crew has also posted their names, “Kashif Haxor, Ahsan Haxor, Smvek Pathan, Shezu 1337, Mr Anon” and one more. The message is signed off with a “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan. The hacking comes at a time when admissions are in process. According to the cyber crime officials, the probe has begun to trace the hackers.
