One more youth who went missing from Malwani earlier this month “returned” home Thursday. Noor Sheikh (24) came back early morning and was later whisked away by sleuths of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and grilled through the day.

According to sources, Noor had been ‘tracked’ to Chennai. While sources said his return was “facilitated” by the ATS, his family claimed he came back on his own. “We are happy that he has returned. On December 15, he left home, saying he was going to offer afternoon prayers but did not return. We were scared to lodge a complaint and so we never approached the police,” said a relative. “Last week, when the news of the disappearance of four youths from the neighbourhood appeared in newspapers, we learnt that Noor was among them.”
