Kajol to be part-time member on Prasar Bharati board

Film actor Kajol is likely to be appointed as a part-time member of the Prasar Bharati board. A committee headed by Vice-President Hamid Ansari is learnt to have cleared her name for the post. Shashi Shekhar Vempati, who has previously worked with Infosys and now heads an online media company, is the second person chosen for the post of part-time member on the public broadcaster’s board, sources said.
