Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday said, that those behind the Uri terror attacks will not be spared. He was addressing the nation through the 24th installment of his monthly special–Mann Ki Baat.
PM Modi, in his address, said,”I pay my tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in Uri terror attack, the culprits will be punished for sure.”
On Friday, the Prime Minister gave his first public speech after the incident. Modi was addressing the public for the first time in Kozhikode, Kerala as a part of three-day Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) national conclave. Modi lashed out at Pakistan, in his speech, saying that there is one country in Asia exporting terrorism across the world.He said that India has been successful in isolating Pakistan, and will intensify its efforts so that the country is completely isolated.
PM Modi also slammed Pakistan saying that the country wants Kashmir when they cannot handle PoK, Gilgit and Balochistan, which are already under its control. “A day will come when people of Pakistan will go against its own government to fight terrorism,” he added.
PM Modi also issued a dare to Pakistan asking them to come forward and fight a war on who defeats unemployment, poverty, illiteracy first.
“Lets see who wins?,” he said.
Mann Ki Baat which airs on All India Radio, is broadcast in several languages to reach people all across the country.
