A Kerala youth suspected to be fighting in Syria has purportedly posted about the Dadri incident on a Facebook page, prima facie believed to be operated by him.
In a post purportedly by Abu Thahir Abdulrahman, he called for action against the killing, saying, “Your Muslim brother was killed for having eaten halal meat. You read it in newspaper and enjoyed…”
The post was made on September 30.

Abdulrahman has been identified by Intelligence agencies as one of the 17 youths who had gone missing from the Gulf and later moved to Syria.
In an earlier Facebook post, Abdulrahman had claimed that he was not with the Islamic State terror group, but had instead joined the jihadist outfit Jabhat al Nusra.
