Kerala: Lawyers, journalists clash at district court
Two journalists and two advocates were injured in the clash. Police restrained both sides, promising to take stringent action against culprits.

Advocates and media persons were injured, TV cameras damaged in a scuffle between journalists and lawyers at the district court complex Thursday. The skirmish was seen as a sequel to the clashes involving both sides at Kerala High Court in Kochi over the last two days.

CM Pinarayi Vijayan also said strict action will be taken against those responsible for the violence. Meanwhile, a meeting convened by the Acting Chief Justice of High Court, Thottathil Radhakrishnan, decided to conduct a judicial probe into the untoward incidents on the high court premises earlier. Police has banned conduct of meetings along roads near the High Court.
Kerala Union of Working Journalists’ district president C Rahim demanded strict action against those responsible for the attack.
