Bar owners representative Binoy Joseph said the verdict would force bar owners to reveal against ministers.
The Congress government in Kerala welcomed the Supreme Court verdict which ratified the state’s new liquor policy.
However, the aggrieved bar hotel owners threatened to expose the ministers who had allegedly pocketed bribe from them.
Congress state president V M Sudheeran said the Supreme Court verdict was historical. It was a recognition for the government stand. It may be recalled that it was the stubborn stand of Sudheeran that paved way for the new liquor policy which envisaged closure of all bars except those in five star category.

Apart from K M Mani who was forced to quit as Finance Minister in the bar bribery scandal, the names of Congress ministers K Babu, Ramesh Chennithala and V S Shivakumar had figured in the list of those who taken money from bar owners.
Bar owner Joseph indicated that all those who had taken the bribe would be exposed. The verdict would pave way for the exposure of bar bribery, he said.
