ndia strongly condemns the encouragement and support which such terrorists and their activities receive from Pakistan’s state.
India on Thursday hit out at Pakistan over its “deplorable meddling” into the internal affairs of the country, asking it to “vacate its illegal occupation of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir”.
As Pakistan had observed “Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan Day” on July 19, followed by “Black Day” on July 20 over the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani, India said that it strongly condemned the “encouragement and support” which “terrorists and their activities receive from Pakistan’s state”.
“We have seen reports about rallies, events and statements related to Jammu & Kashmir in Pakistan and PoK (Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir) over the last two days. We have also noted that the events were led by UN-designated terrorists who had in the past protested the elimination of dreaded terrorists, including Osama bin Laden and Taliban leader Akhtar Mansour in Pakistan… India strongly condemns the encouragement and support which such terrorists and their activities receive from Pakistan’s state,” Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
Asking Pakistan “to stop inciting and supporting violence and terrorism in any part” of India, Swarup said: “India
Kashmir, Pakistan Kashmir, Nawaz Sharif, India, India Pak Kashmir, demands that Pakistan must fulfil the obligation to vacate its illegal occupation of PoK… It must also stop misleading the international community and Kashmiris through meaningless exercises such as the so-called elections today in PoK which Pakistan ironically calls ‘Azad’ (free).”
