Former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani’s wife Kamla Advani died at the age of 83 after suffering a cardiac arrest on Wednesday evening.
Kamla complained of uneasiness and breathlessness before she was rushed to AIIMS in Delhi. She has been feeling unwell for quite sometime and was restricted to using a wheelchair in the last few months. She is survived by her husband, daughter and son.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh: “Smt Kamala Advani was a very noble lady who stood with him throughout her life. May God give him the strength to bear this unbearable loss.”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today expressed condolences over the passing away of Kamla Advani, wife of BJP veteran L K Advani.
