Indian Express journalists Pritha Chatterjee and Aniruddha Ghosal were awarded the Young Environment Journalism Award in the print category for their Death by Breath series on Delhi’s air pollution.
The award was presented at the 8th CMS Vatavaran Festival, an international environment and wildlife film festival and forum.

The ongoing festival – 09 to 13 October – is based on the theme “Water for Life” with a special focus on conserving the country’s water bodies. The festival is showcasing the importance of not only storing water but cleaning up rivers in the country.
