Another tragedy struck the family of Pammi Ramya, the 10-year-old girl who was injured in an accident on Banjara Hills near Panjagutta on July 1 and died on July 9, as her grandfather P Madhusudhan who was also seriously injured, succumbed Monday morning.
A relative said that 65-year-old Madhusudhan suffered multiple fractures and was recovering at the Care Hospital but his health deteriorated after he came to know about the death of his grand daughter.
Ramya, her uncle Rajesh, mother Radhika and grandfather Madhusudhan were returning home in a car on July 1 afternoon when a speeding car rammed into their car on Banjara Hills.
An engineering student named K Sharvil was driving the speeding car. The boy had consumed a large quantities of liquor along with his friends. Police have booked the bar which sold the liquor to the five friends who are 18 years old.
While Ramya’s uncle P Rajesh who was driving died on the spot, Ramya received serious head injuries and succumbed on July 9.
