French honour for Express columnist C Raja Mohan

“In the troubled times we are living in, it becomes all the more important to underline the importance of strategic thinking,” said French Ambassador to India François Richier in his opening address at the event to honour strategic analyst and The Indian Express columnist C Raja Mohan on Wednesday.

Raja Mohan was awarded the prestigious Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur.

“He is one of the best known Indian strategic analysts in France. His analyses — be it in books or newspapers — are fundamental to the evolution of strategic thinking in India, and elsewhere,” Richier said on the occasion.

Raja Mohan, while thanking the French Ambassador, spoke on the importance India accords to its diplomatic partnership with France.
