Flag meeting: India warns Pak over unprovoked firing, infiltration

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere where both sides agreed to meet more frequently, an official spokesperson said.

India was conveyed at a sector-level flag meeting between the BSF and Pakistan Rangers at Octroi Post in Suchetgarh sector Tuesday. The Indian delegation was led by DIG B S Kasana along with DIG R K Gurung, while Pakistan Rangers were led by Brigadier Wasim Zafer Bhatti. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere where both sides agreed to meet more frequently, an official spokesperson said.

BSF Inspector General for Jammu Frontiers Rakesh Sharma said: “We have told them that there will be zero tolerance to… unprovoked targeting of civilian areas, snippet fire and infiltration attempts from across the border.”
