In the meeting, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) will give a detailed presentation to the members on the fast growing e-commerce sector, an official said.

Earlier this month, the government set up the committee to look into all issues, including foreign direct investment norms, pertaining to the fast growing e-commerce industry. Members in the panel includes officials from commerce and industry ministry and department of electronics and IT among others.
