A man who fell sick while standing in a queue at a bank in the outskirts of the city, to exchange demonetised currency notes, died at a hospital in Jaipur. Chiranji Lal, aged around 70 years, was standing in a queue in the bank’s Kaladera branch on November 22 to exchange currency notes. He suddenly fell sick and collapsed.
“He was admitted to a private hospital and died last night,” SHO of Kaladera police station Hukum Singh said. Internal injury might be the cause of his death. The body was handed over his family members, police said.
