A special fast track court on Tuesday convicted Uber cab driver Shiv Kumar Yadav guilty of raping a 25-year-old woman executive in his cab. The FTC had earlier framed charges against Yadav for the alleged offences of endangering a woman’s life while raping her, abduction with an intent to compel her for marriage and criminally intimidating and causing hurt.

March 10: The Supreme Court stays Delhi High Court order permitting Yadav to recall some witnesses.
September 10: The Supreme Court set aside Delhi High Court order permitting Yadav to recall some witnesses.
