With its vice president Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account being hacked Wednesday night and its own party account being hacked Thursday morning, the Congress party is likely to raise the issue in both houses of Parliament.
On Wednesday, Rahul’s account was compromised with at least ten abusive tweets being posted. The Congress party was quick to act and delete the tweets but took time to completely regain access of the account.

In a statement issued, party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said: “Such unscrupulous, unethical and roguish conduct of venal trolls to hack @OfficeOfRG reflects disturbing insecurities of prevalent fascist culture.”
The hacking, however, did not end, as the party’s Twitter account @INCIndia was compromised this morning with abusive tweets as well as threats being posted. The hacker also said email correspondence on the party’s inc.in serve will be released. The party’s website inc.in was also down.
