Attack on RSS leader: ‘Jagdish Gagneja still critical but stable, off ventilator for 3-4 hours daily’

Doctors said agdish Gagneja's multiple injuries would take time to heal and they will take him off ventilator support for 3-4 hours in a day.

MORE THAN a month after he was shot at by unidentified assailants, Brig (retd) Jagdish Gagneja, vice-president of RSS (Punjab) is still admitted in the intensive critical care unit (ICCU) of Hero DMC Heart Centre and remains unconscious. He is on ventilator support and is stated to be stable but critical. Doctors said his multiple injuries would take time to heal. The doctors are taking him off ventilator support for 3-4 hours in a day.

“Doctors told us his heart beat is normal, pulse rate is normal. These are good signs. But he continues to be unconscious condition. We are hopeful he will recover,” said Phoolchand Jain, president of Ludhiana division
of RSS.
