Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who complained of pain in his stomach and abdomen on Saturday was admitted to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital later in the evening. Hospital officials however said he was out of danger.

While he was admitted to the hospital at around 8 pm on Saturday and has been put under observation after carrying out the necessary investigations, his condition is stable,” GMC hospital superintendent Dr Babul Bezbaruah said late Saturday evening.
