The day started with students assuming the role of teachers and teachers their pupils. Teachers conducted the assembly and remembered Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,while marking teachers’ day on Monday. The best teacher out of the pupils was selected on the basis of lesson planning and maintaining discipline in the class.

Bhavan Vidyalaya,Sector 27

Teachers Day was celebrated in Bhavan Vidyalaya to pay tribute to the teaching fraternity and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan. The day started with an assembly where students expressed their love and respect for the teachers. Many poems,stories and speeches were delivered.

DAV Model School,Sector 15

Students presented various poems and speeches to honour their teachers on the occasion on Monday. A self-composed skit was presented by the students,highlighting the role of a teacher in shaping the careers of students.

Kendriya Vidayala,Sector 31

Marking teachers’ day,students delivered speeches in praise of Dr Radhakrishnan highlighting his contribution and achievements in the field of education. Students of Class XII presented a skit based on the theme “pupil-teacher relationship”.

Satluj School,Sector 4,Panchkula

On the occasion of teachers day,students of the school expressed their gratitude to their teachers for guiding them. They delivered dance performances and group songs in the honour of the teachers.

Anee’s School,SAS Nagar

Senior students dressed up like their teachers and taught the juniors,following the teaching style of their mentors. Principal Harpreet Grewal appreciated the students for their performances. “Teachers Day brings out a healthy interaction between students and teachers,wherein the latter recognise the teaching capability of the former,” Grewal said.

Hallmark School,Panchkula

At Hallmark Public School,the students prepared gratitude cards for their teachers and welcomed them with flowers. The students pledged they will always follow the path shown by their teachers and the teachers blessed them. Principal Kavita Wadhwa addressed them on the occasion and motivated them to choose teaching as their profession.

Government Model High School,Sector 36

Students of the school organised a cultural program to mark Teachers’ day on Monday. They presented a skit,and came up with dance performances. Rakesh Sood,Headmaster,congratulated the staff and students. He also honoured the state award recipient Parneet Kaur,Nursery Teacher from the school.
