With a view to provide divine touch, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON),is all set to open its play school to impart value based education for children here.
The play school with an initial strength of 100 children will open on March 13 and provide pre-primary education and will be later extended up to fourth standard, correspondent of the school Nitaisevini and ISKCON’s Visakhapatnam unit president Samba Das told reporters here today.
“With the advent of a corporate culture and western lifestyles,it has become imperative to address the need for the human touch in building character and infusing wisdom amongst students who will epitomise the future of our country,” Nitaisevini said.
The Montessori teaching methods and handling of subjects including moral science are sure to make a mark on young impressionable minds, she added.

Stating that at the age of two and three when the toddler was ready to embark on the most important journey of his life,Samba Das said active learning was the need of the hour.
“If a child is forced to watch TV and forced to play computer games early in life, then these are disruptive influences which can not only show his progression but prove detrimental later on,” he said.
