Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express train launch: The Amrit Bharat trains have been designed to provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category.
Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express, Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar new train: Indian Railways is set to introduce Dibrugarh–Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express train soon. The new non-AC service will operate through five states: Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The Amrit Bharat trains have been designed to provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category.
The Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express will operate as train number 15949, while the Gomti Nagar-Dibrugarh Amrit Bharat service will run as train number 15950. The train will run via Barauni, Hajipur, Gorakhpur.
During its journey between Dibrugarh and Gomti Nagar, this new Amrit Bharat train will halt at 40 stations. These are: Mornhat, Simaluguri, Mariani, Furkating, Dimapur, Diphu, Lumding, Hojai, Chaparmukh, Jagi Road, Guwahati, Kamakhya, Rangiya, Nalbari, Barpeta Road, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Cooch Behar, New Jalpaiguri, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Katihar, Naugachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Mankapur, Ayodhya, Ayodhya Cantt and Barabanki.
The Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar-Dibrugarh Amrit Bharat Express will run as a weekly service. From Dibrugarh, train number 15949 will depart on Friday while from Gomti Nagar, the train number 15950 will depart on Sunday. The train will be composed of 22 coaches.

Train number 15949 Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express will leave Dibrugarh at 21:00 hrs on Friday and arrive at Gomti Nagar at 13:30 hrs on Sunday. In the return direction, train number 15950 Gomti Nagar-Dibrugarh Amrit Bharat Express will depart Gomti Nagar at 18:40 hrs on Sunday and reach Dibrugarh at 12:40 hrs on Tuesday.
