UP: Dalit girl abducted,raped by teacher

A 16-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly abducted and raped by a primary school teacher here,police said today.

The incident took place yesterday at Narahi area. Medical examination of the girl,who was later rescued by police,has confirmed rape,SP Luv Kumar said.

An FIR was lodged against the absconding accused Anand Kumar Ram,he said,adding that the statement of the girl would be recorded in the court on Monday.
