CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke to appear before IT ministry panel over X account ban

According to reports, the ministry had asked Dipke to visit its headquarters in person on Wednesday and appear for a hearing on the government's withholding of the CJP's account.

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke Wednesday said he would appear before a panel of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) over the ban on the group’s X account.

According to reports, the ministry had asked Dipke to visit its headquarters in person on Wednesday and appear for a hearing on the government’s withholding of the CJP’s account.

Taking to his own X account, Dipke posted: “Today at 3 PM, I will personally appear before the Review Committee of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology regarding the withholding of our account, @CJP_2029.”

Dipke is currently leading a sit-in by the CJP at Jantar Mantar and has refused to leave the protest site.
