Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express to start in October: Check route, stops and timings

Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express: The Ministry of Railways is set to introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express between Charlapalli and Gorakhpur. It will be the sixth Amrit Bharat Express to originate from the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and the seventh Amrit Bharat Express to pass through Telangana.

According to A Sridhar, Chief Public Relations Officer of South Central Railway, the Amrit Bharat Express is a low-cost, non-AC superfast train service designed for long-distance travel. The train features push-pull technology for faster acceleration, modern non-AC sleeper and general coaches, sealed gangways and charging points at every seat.

The railway official said that Charlapalli-Gorakhpur-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will begin commercial service in October. Train number 22075 from Charlapalli to Gorakhpur will start regular service on October 2, while train number 22076 from Gorakhpur to Charlapalli will begin operations on October 4.

The Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express will have general unreserved and sleeper class coaches. The train will operate at speeds of 110 to 130 kmph.

The Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express will cover entire distance in around 32 hours and 40 minutes.

Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express: Route, Frequency

The Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express will run via Nagpur Junction passing through Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The train will operate once a week in each direction.

During its journey between Charlapalli and Gorakhpur, train number 22075/22076 will stop at following stations: Charlapalli, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Manchiryal, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Betul, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Lucknow City, Gomtinagar, Barabanki, Gonda and Gorakhpur.

Charlapalli-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express: Timings

Train number 22075 will depart from Charlapalli every Friday at 9:45 PM and reach Gorakhpur at 6:25 AM on Sunday. In the return direction, train number 22076 will leave Gorakhpur every Sunday at 8:30 AM and reach Charlapalli at 5:00 PM on Monday.
