Bulandshahr violence accused gets statue

The SHO of Siyana police station, Subodh Kumar Singh, was killed by protesters while Sumit Kumar (20) was shot allegedly by the policeman in an act of self-defence. 

Eleven months after a 20-year-old was killed during violence in Bulandshahr, the youth’s father has erected a statue in his memory. On December 3, violence had broken out in Bulandshahr’s Siyana after alleged cow-slaughter.
