Two children were killed in a stampede at Deb in Bihar’s Aurangabad district during the Chhath festival on Saturday evening.
Local police said the incident took place near the famous sun temple in Deb, where thousands of devotees had gathered to observe Chhath.
The incident took place when people were returning after the festivities. A six-year-old boy from Bihta, Patna and a one-and-a-half-year-old girl from Sahar, Bhojpur, died in the stampede.
