Attack on forces: NIA searches 5 places in Jammu

The NIA Thursday carried out raids at five locations across Jammu division in connection with the NIA’s investigations linked to militant infiltration and the recent attacks on security forces and civilians.

The searches were carried out in Reasi, Doda, Udhampur, Ramban and Kishtwar districts, said an NIA statement. It led to the seizure of materials that linked the militants of the banned terrorist outfits with the overground workers and hybrid militants, whose premises were searched. The premises of sympathisers and cadres of terrorist outfits were also searched, it said.

Based on the information about the infiltration of the active LeT and JeM militants into Indian territory through the International Border (IB) and LoC, the NIA on October 24 2024, registered a case.
