Army opens fire at ‘Pakistani drone’ hovering along LoC in Nowshera
Police sources said the drone returned to the Pakistan side when the troops tried to shoot it down
For the past few days, there has been a spurt in drone intrusion attempts in J&K from across the border. The Army on Sunday evening opened fire at a Pakistani drone seen hovering along the Line of Control in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.
Police sources said the drone returned to the Pakistan side when the troops tried to shoot it down.

For the past few days, there has been a spurt in drone intrusion attempts in J&K from across the border. On Saturday, the Border Security Force and the J&K Police had seized a consignment of arms and ammunition near the International Border in Samba district.
The seized consignment, which included two pistols along with three magazines, 16 rounds and a grenade, appears to have been dropped through a drone from the Pakistan side, sources said.
