(PTI) A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed him a ceremonial chadar to be offered on his behalf at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju Friday visited the shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia in Delhi.
Speaking to reporters, Rijiju said, “I bring the chadar that PM Modi has handed over to me for Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Going via Nizamuddin Dargah is good and we came here with the same feeling. We all prayed and sought blessings. We are going there with PM Modi’s message of brotherhood and for peace in the country… Tomorrow at 11 am, we will offer the chadar at Ajmer Sharif.”
