This semi-high-speed train has not only reduced the travel time between two cities but also enhanced connectivity.
Vande Bharat Express Train in India
Currently, 150 services of Vande Bharat Express trains (75 each in both UP and Down direction) are operational across the country. The Vande Bharat trains operate in three coach configurations: 20-car, 16-car, and 8-car sets, across the rail network.
With rising passenger demand, the national transporter is now adding more coaches to the existing Vande Bharat trains. Presently, 13 pairs of 20-coach Vande Bharat Express trains are running on various routes.
