The Traitors winner: Karan Johar-hosted Amazon Prime Video show The Traitors started with 20 contestants, including celebrities and social media influencers. After 10 days of playing this game of trust and betrayal, reality show star Uorfi Javed, poker player Nikita Luther, and comedian Harsh Gujral emerged as the top three finalists. In the end, luck favoured Uorfi and Nikita, who successfully ousted Harsh to claim victory. The duo walked away with prize money of Rs 70.05 lakh.

‘I wasn’t the smartest in the lot’

After her win, in an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, Uorfi said, “It’s not like only the smartest one can win the game. The Traitors is a concept where you have to use your brain at the right time. If you use it too soon or too late, it’s over. I wasn’t the smartest in the lot, just that I seized the opportunity at the right time. My survival instincts have been very strong. Till the end, I didn’t feel I would win. I couldn’t figure out that Purav and Harsh were the traitors, and I couldn’t accept it. I was very confused, but later Nikita and I had a long conversation where I realized that she is innocent. We strategized at the very last moment.”

She added, “Harsh was recruited as a traitor just two days before the finale, so I wasn’t sure about him. My mind said yes, but my heart said no. Only when his behaviour changed did I get a little hint. You all see one hour, we would spend 17 hours together, and it wasn’t like we only spoke about the game. In a reality show, friendships get formed very strongly.”
