The second episode of Kapil Sharma’s Netflix Show The Great India Kapil Show streamed on Saturday night with cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer joining as guests. Besides the weak performances of the cast members, the conversation with the guests was also very little, awkward, and guarded. Of the few things that Rohit and Shreyas spoke about with Kapil Sharma was the female attention Shreyas receives. The young cricketer mentioned how once a beautiful girl caught his attention during his first IPL tournament.

The conversation began when Kapil Sharma pointed out that whenever Shreyas Iyer hits a boundary during a match, the cameraman focuses on girls who hold a poster of ‘Shreyas Marry Me!’ He then asked Shreyas if he later checks where the girl was sitting or asks the cameraman about it. Replying to this, Shreyas said, “When I was playing IPL for the first year, I saw a beautiful girl sitting in the stands and I waved hello to her. This is years ago. After the match, I was waiting for her to message me on Facebook, and I kept checking for it. That is the only incident that happened to me.”

During the episode, Rohit Sharma also opened up about Team India losing the 2023 World Cup finals He said, “When the match began, we started good. Shubman Gill got out quickly but then Virat Kohli and I had a partnership. We were confident we could achieve a good score. I feel that in big matches if you can score runs and create pressure on the opposite team…because the opposite team has to make runs. But Australia played good cricket. We even managed to take three wickets for just 40 runs but they had a long partnership.”

Rohit added, “I was thinking that the World Cup took place in our country but still we couldn’t win. I felt the nation might be angry with us. But I only heard people praising how well we played, and how they enjoyed watching that cricket.”

Another interesting revelation that Rohit Sharma made to Kapil Sharma was about how he could never share a room with Shikhar Dhawan or Rishabh Pant due to hygiene issues.
