In 2009, the American socialite tied the knot with basketballer Lamar Odom, who was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers at the time. They got married exactly one month after meeting at a party. Their marriage lasted eight years before they finally called it quits in 2016. Khloé even dropped her last name for his — only to file for divorce in 2014. She later withdrew it when Odom was hospitalised, before re-filing in 2016. Khloé opened up about their messy marriage, even bringing up the infamous sex tapes. She admitted they probably made one, but honestly couldn’t remember. “Maybe I do, I don’t even remember that. If I said that, then maybe,” she said, casually brushing it off. “I think it’s all coming back to me. I’m sure it was something we just did for ourselves, not to sell to somebody.”

But the real jaw-dropper was the night she caught Lamar at a motel at 3 am with another woman. She peeked through the window, saw them both naked, knocked on the door, and “went ballistic.”  The next morning, she showed up at niece Penelope’s cowboy-themed birthday party with bloody knuckles. “I just had bandanas wrapped around [my hand], I was on theme. I acted as if nothing ever happened, and I don’t think I ever said a thing.”

Tristan Thompson: Cheating & quiet heartbreak

During the conversation, Khloé also opened up about being cheated on by Tristan Thompson multiple times. She began dating the basketball player in 2016 after her divorce from Odom was finalised. According to Khloé, Tristan cheated on her just two days before she gave birth to their daughter True Thompson in 2018. The news made a lot of tabloid headlines at the time. But she forgave him. She admits now that even when they reconciled, she never felt fully safe again. “I never could fully trust him… there was something I pushed to the side, and I don’t know why.”

Then came the second blow: in 2019, when he kissed Jordyn Woods (Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend). “Maybe I’ve had more shame with the second scandal because I sort of knew it was going to happen again,” she said. According to Khloé, her sister Kim was the first to know about the cheating.  “Kim has known about the cheating—I think both of the cheating stuff — I think Kim found out first,” she said. But what actually damaged her from inside was the guilt she felt about letting her younger sisters down. “They were like, ‘He’s going to do this again, don’t stay with him.’ … I just remember the disappointment in them.”

They split after that. But in August 2020, they reconciled. In July 2022, Khloé gave birth to son Tatum. “I just wanted to have this bliss that I always dream of and have a brand new baby and have the daddy here,” she said, adding that she just buried her head in the sand. But, things ended for good after it was revealed that Tristan fathered another kid with a different woman.

In February, Lamar made an appearance on an episode of The Kardashians. She said it “triggered a lot of trauma.” Khloé casually dropped that she keeps weed pens in her drawer to help her sleep. “I could never smoke and talk to you… I’m nuts,” she said.
