Divyanka Tripathi plays a chef in Ekta Kapoor’s web series. Here’s the first look

After playing susheel-sanskaari bahu Ishita Iyer in popular television series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka Tripathi is all set to embark on a new journey with Ekta Kapoor's next web series.

TV actor Divyanka Tripathi, who has been ruling hearts as Ishita Iyer in the popular television series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is all set to make her web debut. The actor will debut with Ekta Kapoor’s OTT platform ALTBalaji’s upcoming web series.

Ekta on Tuesday shared the first look of Divyanka on Twitter. The filmmaker wrote, “So d clue to title is it’s five words C.L.A.C.M …. (two words r English rest Hindi) guess itttt” In the poster, Divyanka is dressed as a chef. It seems Divyanka is going to leave her saas-bahu image and own this new avatar.

Rumours suggest that TV actor Rajeev Khandelwal, who appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s web series Haq Se, will share screen space with Divyanka.

Divyanka Tripathi too shared the first look of her web series on Instagram and informed her followers that something else is going to come tomorrow. She wrote, “Tadka lagaya hai zabardast!👩‍🍳 First look! Can you guess the title of my new web series? Doosra bhaag aa raha hai kal shaam 5 baje. Stay tuned!”

A source had earlier informed, “The show will be a mature love story. It will be an emotional tale and will also have a tinge of comedy. Both Ekta and Divyanka are quite excited to start this new journey. Once the male lead is confirmed, the show will go on floors. It’s expected to launch by end of the year. Popular author Jaya Misra will pen the story for Ekta.”

Before Divyanka, Anita Hassanandani and Rithvik Dhanjani also made their web debut with Galti Se Mis-Tech. Even Mouni Roy is set to star in Ekta’s ambitious project Noorjahan.
