Vishwambhara update: Release date of Chiranjeevi’s fantasy film out

With a new poster of Vishwambhara, the release date of Chiranjeevi's next film was unveiled on Friday.

Chiranjeevi has already begun his 156th cinematic journey. On Thursday, he took to social media to share a clip from his workout session and claimed that he is preparing for his upcoming film Vishwambhara. Now, the makers of the film have unveiled a concept poster of the film with the release date. Directed by Vassishta of Bimbisara fame, Vishwambara is all set to be released in theatres on January 10, 2025.

The poster features of the silhouette of Chiranjeevi walking out of what looks like a portal. Looks like the film is an out-and-out fantasy involving portal travel.

The poster was shared on the official X handle of UV Creations. The caption read, “A LEGEND RISES. MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets sets his foot into the mighty world of #Vishwambhara.”

The film, spearheaded by co-producers Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod, was launched in November 2023 and became quite a sensation among Chiru’s fans as Vassishta became a promising director after the release of Bimbisara.
The shoot of the film is yet to begin as the pre-production work is in full swing.

Chiranjeevi is set to essay the lead role of Dorababu. Renowned Oscar Award-winning composer MM Keeravani is roped in for the music. While Chiranjeevi plays the lead role, the complete ensemble cast and crew are yet to be unveiled.

Vishwambhara is touted to be a fantasy film myth and reality. After consistent flops, Chiranjeevi made a decent comeback with Walter Veerayya. However, Bhola Shankar again failed at the box office. With Chiranjeevi entering the realm of fantasy, which is currently the trending genre in Telugu, things look promising for the Megastar.
