Telugu star Varun Tej and actress Lavanya Tripathi got engaged in a close-knit affair which was attended by top celebrities and Varun’s family members Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Pawan Kalyan. The couple exchanged rings at the ceremony that took place on June 9. Now, right after the engagement, Varuna and Lavanya thanked everyone for their wish along with a picture from their September vacation to Europe.

Sharing the pics, they wrote, “Thanks to each and every one for the warm wishes!” Reacting to the post, actress Shriya Saran, wrote, “Congratulations guys. So happy.” Niharika Konidela and Navdeep are other celebrities who reacted to the post.

Varun Tej and Lavanya first met on the sets of their film Mister, which was released in 2016. They two were said to be friends in the initial stage and eventually fell in love. Other than Mister, the two also acted in Antariksham 9000 KMPH.

After dating for a few years, they finally decided to take things forward. Though the wedding date is announced yet, it is said that the two will get hitched by the end of this year. On the work front, Varun will next be seen in the film Gandeevadhari Arjuna. Meanwhile, Lavanya is awaiting the release of her film Thanal.
