Rana Daggubati reveals Naga Chaitanya’s ‘match made in heaven’, it’s not Sobhita Dhulipala; shares couple’s photos from dating days
Ahead of his marriage to Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya's cousin and actor Rana Daggubati shared a heartfelt gift for the groom, sharing photos of the soon-to-be-married couple from their dating days.

“Love is lovelier the second time around,” thus begins a track popularised by legendary singer-actor Frank Sinatra in the ’60s. Perhaps it is this that inspired Naga Chaitanya to embrace a fresh start in life. Now, the Telugu actor is set to embark on a new chapter as he ties the knot with renowned movie star Sobhita Dhulipala in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Chaitanya was previously married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with their four-year marriage ending in 2021. Reports suggest that he began dating Sobhita in 2022 and the couple got engaged in August this year. Their wedding will be a star-studded affair, with prominent celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela, Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata Shirodkar, Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli, Nayanthara, Prabhas and Allu Arjun expected to attend.

Ahead of the auspicious occasion, Chaitanya’s cousin Rana Daggubati shared a heartfelt gift for the groom, highlighting their close bond. On Wednesday, the Baahubali actor posted a promo for an upcoming episode of The Rana Daggubati Show, featuring Chaitanya. In the clip, Rana playfully teases his cousin about the wedding while revealing some never-before-seen pictures of the soon-to-be-married couple, likely from their dating days. “What else, boss? What’s happening in your personal life?” Rana quips, to which Chaitanya responds with a smile, “All neat and nice, all good.” Sharing the video online, Rana humorously captioned it, “Chay and me.. aren’t we a match made in heaven? 😜”
The episode will also feature Rana’s wife Miheeka Daggubati, making it a delightful Akkineni–Daggubati family special. Packed with love and laughter, the promo shows heartwarming interactions, including Rana asking Miheeka, “You think I have become better after wedding?” to which she playfully replies, “Of course! You are married to me!” The much-awaited episode will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Saturday.
