Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela has a ‘family constitution’ to settle wealth disputes, a ‘life coach’ to give her correct advice

She continued, “I’m being as honest as possible. Confidence grows only when you have more knowledge. And you can never have enough knowledge. The more knowledge you seek, the more confident you get. Learning is the most important. I do have a coach, and I spend three months a year, if I can, just updating myself.”

Shedding more insight on her lifestyle, Upasana said that her grandfather didn’t want anybody in the family arguing over money, and for this, he curated a ‘family constitution’. She explained, “We started Secret Santa in our family with 38 people, now we have 44. Over the years, the family has grown, and getting to know them and spend time with them, not just at gatherings but being there for each other, that’s really important. Us being a family business and a business family, we have a family constitution written as well. We go back to that so that there are no fights over wealth. Wealth should never be the cause for any fight in our family. These are the laws that my grandfather put in place. We fight over smaller things, but the big things are all written and taken care of by him.”

Upasana and Ram Charan tied the knot in 2012. They welcomed their first child, daughter Klin Kaara, in 2023. Upasana said in the same interview that she grew up with her grandparents, and because of that, she makes sure that Kaara also feels her grandparents’ presence in her life.
