Game Changer worldwide box office collection Day 2: Ram Charan’s film sees massive dip, collects Rs 72.5 crore

Game Changer Box Office Collection Day 2: Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s political actioner Game Changer, directed by Shankar, made quite a strong impression with its trailer. Billed as one of South Cinema’s big-budget films, released after Pushpa 2: The Rule, fans were excited to see what the movie had to offer. Unfortunately, many are disappointed with Game Changer, which is also reflecting in the film’s box office figures. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Ram Charan’s film saw a major dip of 57.84 per cent in its collections on Saturday. On Friday (day 1), the movie earned Rs 51 crore combined in all languages. However on day 2, it only managed to collect Rs 21.5 crore collectively. With this, the total India gross collection for the film stands at Rs 72.5 crore.

Game Changer’s Telugu version has earned Rs 53.95 crore, while the Hindi version raked in Rs 14.5 crore. The film’s Tamil version collected Rs 3.82 crore, and the Malayalam version garnered Rs 0.03 crore. The Kannada version has also earned Rs 0.02 crore. The overall occupancy for Game Changer’s Telugu version was 31.19 per cent on Saturday, while it was 21.82 per cent for the Hindi version.

With eight sows running in the Telugu language, Mahbubnagar had the highest occupancy of 54.25 per cent, followed by Warangal. Warangal’s occupancy was 46.50 per cent with 48 shows. In Hindi, Jaipur had the highest occupancy of 54.50 per cent with 123 shows. Chennai followed with an occupancy of 40.75 per cent with eight shows. In Mumbai, the film’s occupancy was 26 per cent with 444 shows, while in Delhi NCR, it was 21.75 per cent with 668 shows.

After its release on January 10, the film’s team was also accused of showcasing inflated numbers at the box office. The makers had shared that the movie earned Rs 186 crore worldwide on Day 1.

Directed by S Shankar and produced by Dil Raju, Game Changer also stars Nassar, SJ Suriyah, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma in important roles.
