Director SS Rajamouli took some time off from Baahubali: The Conclusion shooting to watch Ram Charan Teja’s latest film, Dhruva. In a series of tweets, he has given a glowing review of the movie and the performances of its actor.

“My full appreciation to charan and surendarreddy for keeping the story infront instead of image which made Dhruva intresting and captivating from beg till end.Charan looks great with his fantastic physic.performed very well with subtle expressions through out. Rakul is ravishing,” Rajamoul posted on his Twitter page.

The Baahubalu maker seems to be quite impressed with actor Aravind Swamy, who has played the main antagonist in the film. Dhruva is the remake of Tamil hit Thani Orvan. One of the plus points of the movie was that it had a strong villain character. For the most part of the film, Aravind’s character outsmarts the hero’s at every turn.

“Aravind swamy already proved in tamil version and he does no less here. Greatjob. full marks to the writer who did a fabulous job.Real hero,” Rajamouli tweeted. Aravind has played the same role in the original Tamil version, which had Jayam Ravi playing the protagonist. The film, directed by Ravi’s brother Mohan Raja, became the biggest hit in the former’s acting career.

Dhruva, meanwhile, is also an important film for Ram Charan’s career. The actor had taken this film quite seriously and took his dedication to the next level while shooting. Even the makers of the film were not ready to leave anything for chance and ensured that the box office stays free of any major challenges at least for next two weeks.

Actor Suriya’s Singam 3, which was gearing up to open in theatres on December 16, was asked to push back the release by a week. Dhruva released on Friday to a good response and it is said to have been an excellent weekend for the film in terms of collections. “Sunday Numbers are FANTASTIC! Excellent Weekend. #Dhruva,” tweeted Vamsi Kaka, the PR for the film.

The makers, however, are yet to share the official worldwide box office numbers of Dhruva.
