Allu Arjun addresses backlash over not visiting boy injured during Pushpa 2 stampede: ‘Due to the legal proceeding…’

Arjun’s wife Sneha Reddy welcomed her husband with an emotional hug after spending a night in the Chanchalguda jail. He also reunited with his brother Allu Sirish and children Ayaan and Arha. Pushpa: The Rule director Sukumar, Naga Chaitanya, Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda and many other celebs met the Telugu actor after his release from jail. Moreover, Arjun visited Chiranjeevi’s house with his family a day after returning home.

Arjun also talked to the media for the first time after his release from jail on Saturday morning. He said, “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident.”

What was the case about 

He was arrested related to the case about a 35-year-old woman Revathi, who died and her son was severely injured on December 4 during the stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad when Allu Arjun’s fans wanted to catch his glimpse at the premiere of his latest hit Pushpa 2: The Rule. After the incident, the city police registered a case against the actor, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as a complaint was lodged by the deceased woman’s husband. However, he has now withdrawn the complaint.
