Actress Zarina Wahab has been locked in to play Deepti Naval’s onscreen sister in TV show “Meri Awaz Hi Pehchaan Hai”.

The show spans across three generations and charts the journey of Kalyani and her sister, both playback singers who turn into bitter rivals later.

Talking about the role, Zarina said in a statement: “I always take shows that will have me doing something worthwhile and not participating in kitchen politics. The storyline of the show and also the star cast is just brilliant.

“It will be great to work with Deepti who is my contemporary.”
