Its time to gear up for the biggest blockbuster of the year – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s reunion on Bigg Boss 9. The Khans, who have been at loggerheads post an ugly spat eight years ago, have today creased out all the rough knots and back to their friendliest best. (PICS: Shah Rukh Khan’s mid week night out)
Confirming Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance was his ‘Dilwale’ co-star, Varun Dhawan who said: “I and Kriti (Sanon) might enter the house on 28th (November). I have spoken to Salman bhai and he said why don’t you come and promote the song.”
Of course, the gameplan was to give SRK and Salman maximum screen space together to produce a blockbuster reunion.
“Shah Rukh sir might go later. When SRK and Salman are in the same frame, I don’t think you would want to see anyone else. I will see it on TV,” added Varun, who was at the launch.
Indian Express.com was the first ones to ask Salman Khan if he would like to extend an invitation to SRK this year to promote ‘Dilwale’ and the former had given a vociferous thumbs up. ‘SRK is more than welcome and he has a lot of life experiences that he could share with contestants inside the house,’ Salman Khan had told The Indian Express.com at the launch of this year’s Bigg Boss earlier this year.
While Salman Khan has always been extending his invitations to SRK, it is only now that the latter has finally accepted the invite.
One can recollect that Salman alongwith his “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” co-stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepak Dobriyal danced to the tunes of SRK’s famous song “Tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam” from “Dilwale Dulhaniya
While the entire “Dilwale” team, led by SRK and Kajol, danced to the famous title track of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”. Rohit Shetty-directed “Dilwale” also stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead. The film is set to release on December 18.
