Stranger Things season 2 is coming! The idea of a bunch of kids teaming up to fight against an otherworldly monster never really gets old. Only few days are left when everybody’s favourite Netflix horror show’s second season will start streaming on the digital entertainment platform, but the team behind it is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to its promotions.
This is remarkable as the first season received little marketing and got mainstream recognition only after strong word-of-mouth publicity. This time, though, Netflix is not taking chances. They have teased the show by releasing a short clip where Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) is seemingly having a reunion with his mysterious friend Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
In the clip, released by Netflix UK & Ireland on YouTube, Mike is being interrogated by the authorities regarding Eleven. Mike, though, the trusty friend that he is, says he does not know and even if he knew, he would not tell them. Mike then, probably, sees Eleven peering through a window.
We barely see a glimpse of half of Eleven’s face before one of the interrogator’s eyes follows Mike’s gaze and probably does not get to see Eleven judging by his face. So did she hide in time? Or was she simply imagined by Mike who must surely be missing his friend? He certainly seems to be pensive and teary-eyed so it is as good a guess as any.
Whatever the answer, we are going to get them in three days. Stranger Things season 2 starts streaming on Netflix on October 27.
