Shilpa Shinde aka Angoori Bhabhi turns glamorous and shakes a leg with Rishi Kapoor, Vir Das

Television’s former Angoori Bhabhi Shilpa Shinde is shedding all inhibitions and trying to go for a makeover. The actress who had a major fallout with the producers resulting her quitting her successful show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain is back in news. But this time it is for different reasons. Shilpa is trying to break away from her image of a saree-clad daughter-in-law, and do an item song in a Bollywood film. Shilpa will soon be seen shaking a leg with Rishi Kapoor and Vir Das in the film titled Patel Ki Panjabbi Shaadi. According to buzz, it is a celebratory song and appears during an engagement scene in the film. A picture from the sets is dong the rounds and we can see that Shilpa has gone for a complete change of look.

The film is a cross-cultural comedy. While Rishi Kapoor plays a Punjabi man, actor Paresh Rawal will play a Gujarati. It is directed by Sanjay Chhel. Shilpa had recently expressed excitement about her Bollywood break and said she was honoured to work with such stalwarts. We hope this film and her upcoming career moves can wash off her controversial exit from the television show.
