Shah Rukh Khan’s new TV show sets face fire alarm

Shah Rukh Khan is back on Television with the show ‘Sabse Shaana Kaun?’ on a newly launched entertainment channel and after the rehearsals concluded, the shoot schedule of the show is underway.

Reportedly, when SRK was shooting an episode of the show, which premieres on March 2, with friends Karan Johar and Farah Khan and actress Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma, the lights went off as soon as the superstar stepped onto the stage.

According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, in the ensuing blackout, there was a generator that caught fire and an SOS call was made to the Chembur fire brigade.

An official from the fire brigade confirmed this, saying, “Yes, we received a call around 7.45 pm and one fire engine rushed to the spot. The fire was due to a short circuit in the wiring and was doused in 10 minutes and there were no injuries.”

A staff member of RK Studio collaborated this and said, “Yes, there was a fire on the sets and the set had to be evacuated. But as soon as the fire brigade arrived, the situation was brought under control.”

The producer of the show, Siddharth Basu, however denied this news and said, “There has been a power failure which has been restored.”

Power was restored and shooting resumed around 10 pm.
