Competition and insecurities eat away relationships and bonds in the entertainment industry but some definitely are formed to last. At the recently held Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards, popular actors Shantanu Maheshwari and Ravi Dubey got the opportunity to relive their friendship that was built while they participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8. The adventure reality show hosted by Rohit Shetty had both Ravi and Shantanu as finalists along with Hina Khan. Shantanu had emerged as the champion beating Hina and Ravi in the finale task.
Interestingly, Shantanu and Ravi performed together on the ITA stage. The two boys grooved on “Sweety Tera Drama” and “Hawa Hawa”. Also, giving them a surprise company was the vivacious Mouni Roy. The act was a combination of romance, drama, comedy, and of course some foot-tapping dance moves. It’s touted to be one of the most entertaining acts from the evening.
Coming back to Shantanu and Ravi, a source exclusively told indianexpress.com, “Both the guys are really fond of each other and having met after a long time they were really excited. Ravi and Shantanu enjoy each other’s company and they had a blast during the rehearsals. They were seen reminiscing their Spain memories, fooling around with their dance steps, and Ravi being the elder one, was constantly pulling Shantanu’s leg about funny incidents from their shoot days in Spain. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the same chemistry will be seen during their performance also.”
Shantanu, who adores Ravi and considers him like a brother, also shared a loving picture of the two on Instagram with the words “No caption needed”
While all the contestants were seen having a fun time during their shoot in Spain, Shantanu was the shy one hardly seen during their mischievous moments. But clearing the air, the Dil Dostii Dance star had told indianexpress.com, “I too had my share of fun. Only because I am not active on social media that people never realized that I was also having a ball. I might be missing in the pictures and videos, but I was equally a part of all the crazy stories and activities.”
