Television couple Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai’s wedding will be a private affair as the duo has decided to opt for a court wedding. The couple, which has been together for six years, will tie the knot on December 16 in Mumbai. The mehendi ceremony is planned according to Kishwer’s Muslim rituals while the sangeet ceremony will take place as per Suyyash’s Punjabi traditions. The duo will later host a reception party for their close friends and family.
Sharing her excitement about her special day, Kishwer said in a statement, “I am very nervous and excited about the wedding. The D Day is just round the corner. I must say I am lucky to have Suyyash in my life. Need blessings from everyone.”
Also, Kishwer has come up with an interesting contest #SukishKiShaadi Contest on Instagram in which her fans can post a selfie video congratulating the couple on their wedding. The top three cutest videos will feature in the web series showing all the functions of the wedding ceremony.
Even though the media will be kept away from the wedding ceremony, Kishwer and Suyyash have found a way to include their fans in their special moments. The duo has planned a web series showing all the functions from their sangeet to the wedding ceremony. The five-episode series will be titled Sukish ki Shaadi. Each episode will last 15 minutes.
