Actor and comedian Kiku Sharda has been one of the longest-serving cast members on Kapil Sharma’s show. Kiku has been associated with Kapil and the team ever since the show first aired on Colors TV, sticking with the comedian even when most of the other cast members left in the aftermath of Kapil’s fight with Sunil Grover onboard a plane.

Now, as Kiku Sharda gears up to feature in another captive reality show called Rise and Fall, a few reports claim that he has quit The Great Indian Kapil Show. His recently rumored fight with Krushna Abhishek is also said to be the reason behind Kiku ‘moving on’; however, all these reports are not true. Archana Puran Singh, who is also a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show, exclusively confirmed to SCREEN that Kiku is very much with the team.

Reacting to reports of the comedian quitting Kapil Sharma’s show on Netflix India, Archana Puran Singh said, “Absolutely not true.” A source also revealed, “Kiku is not quitting the show, you are going to see him in the upcoming episodes too. He has wrapped up shooting for the show before starting his next project. Kiku is very much a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show.”

The report also hinted at Kiku and Krushna’s rumored fight on the show’s set being a reason why Kiku chose to leave The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, our source clarified, “This is like just fanning an invisible fire; that entire fight was a prank staged by Krushna and Kiku on the guest. They even shot for other episodes after that.”
